Anonymous Access

Morning ladies and gents,
I have a problemito in that if I try to load Newbb RC2 in my start page it won't display until people log in. This I do not want - I would rather they be able to browse the forums anonymously. I have tried going in to the Admin menu and granting anonymous access but it doesnt seem to like it. Anyone who feels they might want to help please let me know and I can provide URL and a test login.

Hmmm. I tried this and to no avail. Got NewBB RC2 in front page and users have to log on to browse the board. Would like people not to have to log in to read it (à la XOOPS site itself). Any tips sir?

Muchas gracias - now all I have to do is find out how to make my board readable by all.At the moment u have to log in to even see it - I think I changed all the Anonymous settings but sthg ain't right....

If u go to www.tranmeremail.org.uk - log in as temp, monkey.

At the bottom of the Message Board u should see what I mean!!

Tis spelt Inactiv rather than Inactive.

NewBB 2

Hi everyone,
Just upgraded my New BB from version 1 to version 2.0RC2 and have a question. On the front page of the BB there are two typos (the word Inactive is spelt wrong twice).
What file do I need to edit to change this? Have done a find in file for this but cannot find the damned thing!
If anyone can help I'd be most grateful.
