Oops, it looks like it was resolved in the second page of the phpBB exploit thread in this forum. The search feature brought me to the first page and I didn't realize (due to the small multi-page icons) that it continued onto the next page.

Anyway, disregard this post.

The phpBB exploit as detailed here: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=240513

was mentioned by someone on this forum before. However, I don't think it was fully resolved if newBB was vulnerable to this same exploit. Doing a simple search of newBB's viewtopic.php yielded no code that matched the vulnerable code presented in the phpBB forum post. I believe I'm using newBB 1.0 (or if this doesn't sound right, whatever version came bundled with XOOPS 2.0.7). I would like to know if newBB is in fact vulnerable to this same exploit. Looking at the changelog for newBB 2.0 doesn't mention anything about this, so maybe it doesn't affect newBB?

I realized using the post method on a search form is a bad idea. So i switched the xoopsthemeform mode to get. That works much better for IE, and no more expiry error.

Hi,

Some users on my site are complaining that when they do a search (My own custom search using XoopsThemeForm), when they hit back on their browser, they have to repost the data. They find this annoying. I was wondering if there was a method to force the browser to cache the search results page. This way, when they hit back, they don't have to repost the form data. Maybe it's a header somewhere that i'm missing?

*Edit*
THis seems to happen with IE (it gives me expired for my security warning and tells me to reload the browser to see the results again)
*Edit*

Hey thanks! That works perfect. I actually tried splitting the <{if}> statement so that i could insert the content block between the center blocks, but i forgot to add a tag just before the first <{if}> which made it not work, so I assumed that wasn't the solution. Thanks again for your help!

Setting my center/center block weight to 0 puts it above everything else, where I want it. However, I also have 2 center/left blocks that, no matter what weight I set, won't move below my news.

OK, i see the problem.

I want my content below the center center block but above the center/left center/right blocks.

Is that possible?

I'm actually using the default theme.....

I was wondering, can you do me favor and post your theme.html? That way I can compare if everything is where it should be in my theme.html

Also, I moved the content section back to where it was, above the all the other center block declarations. Even setting the center block weight to 0 puts it under my news (I assume it's because the content
is above the sections for all the other center blocks).
