There's nothing there concerning the image. Apparently the image resides inside this var (file templates_c/db%3Anews_item.html):

<?php echo $this->_tpl_vars['story']['text']; ?>

Any ideas?

http://www.computerlife.be

The attachment image (the blue disk) appears at the end of each news post. When I edit the news item, the following line has been added each time:

:download:

When I delete the line and save the item, it just appears again, there's no way for me to delete it.

I updated the module and created 3 non-expired/active polls, but nothing shows.

*update* I removed the module again and copied the xoopspoll directory from a clean install and installed it again, but still the same problem..

The Polls block title is showing correctly, but not of the polls are. The group permissions are correct, the polls are enabled and not expired. I already reinstalled the module but nothing seems to help. I enabled all the debug options but no errors or warnings are being showed.

I enabled the polls block for anonymous users to show you >http://www.computerlife.be

This problem just fixed itself today.. The Who's Online block is showing again.. Very strange. I had no caching on whatsoever on this site.

For some reason the "Who's online" block isen't showing anymore. The group permissions are correct and the block has visible "yes". Blocks like "search" and "new members" are being displayed without any problems..

Yes I do. I disabled to option now and indeed the option is correct. The problem is that we have a site with a lot of visitors so the caching option is pretty handy..

Serious News mod/newBB administration problem

I have a problem with the administration of the news mod and newbb. The problem occurs when a person is logged in as a member of the webmaster group, or a member of a user-created moderator group who has moderation rights on both the news mod or the newbb.

The problem is that with some posts, the edit/delete option just does not appear, nor in the post nor in the comments. I can't seem to find a rule as in to when it does not appear, they are random posts.

Another problem is that sometimes anonymous users or plain registered users see the edit/delete option.. They should never, ever be able to see that option. I did not find this problem in the FAQ or on this board but this seems to be a serious issue. Does anybody have any advice on this?

Is XOOPS/newBB safe for php's unserialize() bug?

Do I need to upgrade my PHP on each of the servers running XOOPS/newBB or don't they use unserialize()? It's a flaw within the function unserialize() that is rated as very critical for millions of PHP servers, because it is exposed to remote attackers through lots of very popular webapplications. The list includes forum software like phpBB2, WBB2, Invision Board and vBulletin.

It displays the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 10485799 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12 bytes) in /[xxx]/class/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 2337

That's strange because those are all the same servers.. Any idea where I can up some settings?
