No sorry I have not. I have been very busy trying to figure out what went wrong with my finacial aid for school and I have been working 50+ a week.

This is the first thing on my list of things to do today.

I checked out that site and that works great except for the home link not being able to be highlighted.

I am first going to apply that hax then do research on how to get the home link to be highlighted like the rest.

Thanks again guys. This is an awesome community.

Well I found three style.css files in my htdocs directory. I added that code your gave me to the very end of each of them and still no luck

I knew I would get almost everything done that I wanted to do and I would get stuck on the very last thing on my list.

I will continue to try to edit the CSS for XOOPS and see if I can get this to work.

But if somebody knows how to do this please speak up and make me a very happy man.

Hello,

I am so close to having my new XOOPS page the way I want it I can taste it. There is only one thing left that I want to do. THat is to get a main menu entry to be distinquishable form the others depending on what page your on.

For example,

Say you click on the "Downloads" link in the main menu. On the Downloads page I would like the "Downloads" link to be a different color than the default so that the user knows what page they are on just by looking at the main menu. The same thing should happen depending on what page your on.

So my question is this, to do what I want to do, do I need to hax Xoops, each module that has an entry in the main menu , the theme I am using ( 7dana-jane ) or any combination of those?

Hello,

I am trying to get rid of the submenu that pops up when a user clicks on downloads in the main menu. I am using the downloads module that cam with Xoops.

I do not want the Submit, Popular and Top Rated options to appear when the user clicks on the downloads link.

Do I have to modify the downloads module or XOOPS itself. Any and all help is very much appreciated.

Cool,

Thanks again for the help guys. I have been able to do exactly what I wanted to do thanks to that push in the right direction.

I edited out the print, e-mail and coments section of the index files. It did not work at first but then I thought that maybe I had to update the module after I made changes and BAM it worked. Below is what my tiny_index.html pages look like now which is exactly what I wanted to have.

Quote:

<{$content}>

<div style="padding: 5px; text-align: right; margin-right:3px;">

<{if $is_display_pagenav }>
<hr align="left" width="100%">
<table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
<tr>
<td width="33%" align="left" valign="top">
<{if $prev_link }>
<a href="<{$mod_url}>/<{$prev_link}>" accesskey="P"><{$lang_prevpage}></a>
<br />
<{$prev_title}>
<{/if}>
</td>
<td width="34%" align="center" valign="top">
<a href="<{$mod_url}>/" accesskey="H"><{$lang_topofcontents}></a>
</td>
<td width="33%" align="right" valign="top">
<{if $next_link }>
<a href="<{$mod_url}>/<{$next_link}>" accesskey="N"><{$lang_nextpage}></a>
<br />
<{$next_title}>
<{/if}>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
<{/if}>
</div>

I downloaded the latest version that is up as of 1 hour ago so I guess I have those features Madsen spook of. Since I am able to do what I want I will try that out since I have nothing to lose now.
