Hi,
I have an active XOOPS site that's been running for years. I'd like to move this site to a new host but I've had a lot of trouble....and never got it to work correctly.

So, I'd like to start over on the new host. The URL will be exactly the same but I want to set the site up this new XOOPS site before changing the domain servers.

I have this new XOOPS site installed on the new host but I can't login into the new site as it take me to the ogrinal XOOPS site I have running on the old host.

How do I temp. change were the XOOPS login, etc., are directed to? i.e., the actual location of this new XOOPS install is at xx.xxx.x.x/~baltimo but it's taking me to www.xxxxxxxx.com.

Thanks!
Tom

Hi,
I read somewhere on this site that I can turn off a module. I don't have access to my XOOPS administratio page as I'm gettin g the white page of death. I think it's an issue with xoopsgallery and I'd like to turn the module off to check. What file do I need to edit to do this?

Thanks,
Tom

Anyone? To clearify, I have a simple flash intro I'd like everyone to see when they go to my site but once they're at the site I don't want the flash intro to appear everytime they hit the "home" button on the main page.

Is there a way to have some other file open, other then root/index.php when someone goes to www.myurl.com and then have the flash intro open my homepages index.php afterwards?

Any idea's would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

I have a similar question but I'm not even as far along.
I have a flash intro I'd like everyone to see before entering the site. How do I do this since the flash intro is index.php as is the homepage?

Also,
When I edited the system_block_mainmenu.html adding "index.php. The "Home" button on the main menu is now labeled "index.php". How do I fix this?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tom

Well I'd like to make a banner with Anim-FX and then use it on my page. Anim-fx produces two files, the .swf file and a .txt file. The .txt files obviously contains the text that's in the flash banner and both files need to be in the same directory to work. I've tried uploading both files to the /banner directly of XOOPS and then using the banner section of xoops, give the files location. But this doesn't work.

Doesn anyone have any experience with Anim-fx and xoops. I can get a regulular .swf file to work fine....just not a .swf file and the required .txt file that Anim-fx uses.

Thanks,
Tom

Hi,
Does anyone have experience with Anim-FX and xoops?
www.anim-fx.com
It's a flash banner program. I've messed with it a little but haven't been able to make it work with xoops.

Any idea's,
Tom
