Html content fron 2.0.13 to 2.0.16 error

Hi,

can you please help me solving this question :

since i was using the 2.0.13 version I was able to view some extra html content in my XOOPS site simply with a php code :


include("mainfile.php");
include("header.php");

global $xoopsDB, $xoopsConfig;

OpenTable();
?>


CloseTable();

include("footer.php");

?>

but right now with 2.0.16,

It seems doesn't work any more ;(

Can you please tell me how can I use this hmtl pages into my XOOPS ( maybe without some external modules )...

First of all : thanks for your aswer :)))

But, maybe I didn't explain myself.

When you go on preferences and set news as your default module, you'll see the news on your start page displayed at the bottom of the last block of start page and then in the following pages.

I was asking if there's a way to display: FIRST the news on start page and then the "eventual" others block you set on the start page of xoops.

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to show last (for example) 5 news on top of the front page instead of the bottom like It is on default.

By now, when I select the news module as defult module, the news are show on the bottom of the last block ...

P.S. I have others 6 blocks on the front page.

I would like to show

1) the last news on the first blocks of the page and then ...
2) others block on the front page ...

Is It possible ?

I've found these lines also in my include/common.php WHITOUT having installed the autologin hack.

What these lines are for ? If I comment out these lines without installing the autologin hack, do I have a "similar" autologin function ?

I'm curious to know what these lines are for ...

Maybe, using the html code that is show under the banner insertion option. I've tried with some examples like :


(and then to put in this code the target "_blank" or what we want ...)

to insert a banner but it doesent work ...
What's the right code I can insert there ?
What about the "html tag" option in there ?

I would like to change, on the newbb forum, the dispay of Anonymous poster with the Ip address ...

Like "message posted by 100.111.111.111"
instead of Anonymous ...

How can I do ?

Is there a simple (or not) way to NOT show dates and hour on the xcgal module ?

Whitch is the main file with date and hour settings to modify ?
