Hi

Having completed an update from XOOPS 2.0.7 to 2.0.13.2. and an update to the x-IPB module from version 1.4E to 1.4I.. I find that I am unable to use the “Mail Users” feature to mail users. I can mail myself (webmasters) via there, and if I attemp to mail without sececting a valid group of recipients, I am taken to a “No User Matched” page.

But when trying to mail the registered users I get a page cannot be displayed at “/modules/system/admin.php?fct=mailusers”

I have already tried re-ftping the whole modules/system/ folder and updating the system module in module admin.

This hasen't worked. Any ideas of other things that I could try gratefully appreciated.

Cheers
Mark

Hi

Thanks for replying.

Yep, done that before posting here. It didn't help.

Any other ideas?

Hi

I have just completed some updating. I have gone from XOOPS 2.0.7 to 2.0.13.2.

I have also updated the x-IPB module from version 1.4E to 1.4I.

On (otherwise) successfully completeing the update I find that I am unable to use the “Mail Users” feature to mail users. I can mail myself (webmasters) via there, and if I attemp to mail without sececting a valid group of recipients, I am taken to a “No User Matched” page.

But when trying to mail the registered users I get a page cannot be displayed at “/modules/system/admin.php?fct=mailusers”

Anyone got any ideas how to fix this.

Please.... thank you

Cheers
Mark

Unable to write to main menu

I am in the process of updating my XOOPS site, (its currently at 2.0.7).

I have uploaded the relevant upgrade files (2.0.7 - 2.0.9.2)

Each time I try to update system from the modules menu it seems to work okay but displays a red warning message saying "Unable to write to main menu".

Is this a problem?

How do I fix it?

As I say, it doesn't appear to adversely affect the upgrade, but I really don't want to be storing up problems for later.

Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks
Mark

This is either not possible or so simple I'm gonna seem really stupid, but here goes.

I want to use the "Sections" module because it does exactly what I need it to, but it is important that it is not called "sections" rather that it is called "Announcements". Is there a way to hack the module so that this title change can be made to the users menu?

Thanks for any help

Is there a multi-user blog module available. I am trying to set up a community site and the need to allow users to write their own blogs and have them available for reading to other users.

Any pointers appreciated

Thanks
Poodle
