Haven't changed any folder settings, it just one day stopped working...

Might it be the amount of links waiting in the queue messing it up?

It points to the right place and has the proper rights.

Maybe you can answer me this, if I go in manually with phpmyadmin what status do I need to set the links to to be displayed? 0 looks like not approved, 1 seems to display them but there is a 2 as well.

Ok

When I try to get to my weblinks approve submissions page I get a 404 error.

I have almost 400 submissions I need to approve.

If someone can solve this for me I will pay them $30 US via Paypal.

E-mail me at admin@yourchildsdaycare.com and let me know if you are the man for the job.

I've had someone submit 400 links to my site (as per my request).

Now if I had been smart I would have just get the site to auto-authorize the new links and then turned it off when he was done, but I didn't.

So the other day I went and started authorizing links which was taking forever, today I went back and I can't see the list of submitted links anymore, i get a 404 page not found error.

Any tips or advice? Tried IE and Firefox in case it was a browser issue but no luck with that.

Thanks

I've hired someone to submit 800 or so related links to my existing site via the form. (Cheaper than having them put into DB directly for me).

Now I don't want to have to approve each one manually as it takes forever. Is there anyway I can just approve all the submissions in the queue, perhaps a flag I can set in the db table to make them approved?

Keep in mind that I am not a technical person, so if you respond please make the instructions at a first grade level ;)

Thanks.

Perhaps a silly question but oh well...

How can I view a list of weblinks in order to modify them?

The only way I can seem to do it is if I know the link ID, but I don't see anything that tells me what links have what IDS...

No big deal for a site with a few dozen links, but I have a few hundred to enter and I want to know how to fix anything that may go wrong.

Thanks

The concept is to be able to help others with no technical knowledge run XOOPS for their group sites.

So each site would be the same at the beginning, the content would of course be different for each site as they grow.

Basically I'm concerned about moving the starting database between domains, each one would start out with a certain set of links and articles (for example on XOOPS themes) that would be useful for each group.

I would rather not reinvent the wheel each time a group gets a XOOPS powered site is all.

There is a discussion going on about moving a XOOPS site to another domain, hopefully there will be some info in there.

Thanks

Hello all,

Wanted to know if the following is possible.

I want to create a "template" XOOPS setup with some add-on mods, etc... Then I want to be easily copy that exact same configuration up on multiple domains. I don't need the domains to talk to each other or anything like that, I just don't want to have to install and tweak XOOPS on every domain to get it started.

Easy enough?

Hey all,

Dl'ed XOOPS on Monday got it all installed in working in an hour (with no coding experience) so let me start by saying that it is working great so far.

I seem to recall seeing a notice about a new version coming out soon so my question is this, should I start to populate my community with links and articles now or should I just wait a bit to avoid having to redo all this work later (I have several hundred links and many public domain articles to be included on the site).

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to be asking but it seemed to make the most sense here.

Also if I should wait, is there an anticipated release window (ie 2-4 weeks, not an exact date).

Thanks
