Do you know which file that would reside in?

I've noticed lately on my site that whenever a user posts a comment in the shoutbox (v 0.92) that it will add to their post count. Does anyone know why this is?

Almost.

When a theme is uploaded and chosen as the current theme, it is interpreted (or compiled) into a PHP file, which is placed in the templates_c directory. When XOOPS subsequently needs to display a page with this theme, this compiled file is loaded. If it does not exist, it will be regenerated.

In order to get the changes to show up, you will need to enable the "Update module templates from themes/yourtheme folder" setting in system admin -> preferences -> general settings. This means that no matter if the theme's theme.html is already compiled or not, it will be regenerated - so remember to turn it off, when you are done with it, for better performance.

I'm having the same issue with my site. No matter what I change on any theme, it does not hold. That "Update Module Templates" option is on YES. I even turned it off and on, just to make sure. No change. I deleted the files out of templates_c and the site broke! Luckily I made a backup before hand. Anyone have any suggestions?

Since we updated to v. 2.0.7, our ShoutBox no longer works internally on the page. The popup window has to be loaded in order to use it. I've removed/deleted/reinstalled the module, but no luck. Any ideas?

I have read about that hack and did implement it for a while before realizing the load. All of my users are wanting the "Who's Online" to refresh itself inside the webpage so that they don't have to refresh every two minutes. Frankly, I'd like the option, too. But, it sounds like it can't be done. *sigh*

Is there a way to make the "Who's Online" module self-refresh within the same window, just like the ShoutBox does? It'd be nice to have it update itself so I know who's online without having to refresh the entire page.

Nevermind, I found the answer: I needed to go into each individual section and allow anon users. I didn't realize that option was there. At any rate, they're all anon-ready! XANTIUS.COM

I've enabled my articles to be viewed by anonymous users. They show up in the "Recent Articles" section on the front page and are readable, but if the link in the Main Menu to Articles is clicked, the page is blank and no articles are listed. Is there somewhere/something else that needs to be enabled for that link to be available to anon users?

Where are the fonts pulled from for a website? Are they referenced to the users' local machine or are they read from the hosting server? I'd like to use some different fonts, but I need to know where the website looks for them so I know where to stick the new font.

I'm yet to find anything like this. I've gotten into the habit of creating a thread in the forum to accompany my news/articles, then linking them. An easier way would be nice, but we'll see if there is a way.
