About 17902 registered users is not so bad but my goal is around 30000 users and I need 100 to 200 concurent contributors...

I can't engaged a big project like this without any documentation about architecture, and without any performance issues to concurent users and contributors.

By the way, is LDAP authentification (Microsoft Active Directory) supported with multi organisational units?

What was the initial goal for this project ?

Can I find any story about it ?

I'm a newbie into this project, I was asking myself if it would be a great idea to use it for my Pedagogic Extranet Web Portal which size is around 30000 users.

I was looking for performance issue but I failed to find out anything. Furthemore I couldn't find out documentation about concepts and architecture (cache manager, Apache integration, privicy and moderation, design templates, ...) from this site and the other site about documentation is almost empty...

What I need is the ability to publish private informations for each classrooms (around 2 or 3 hundred classrooms) and to use my LDAP Active Directory to connect. I need also a french admin. interface.

By the way, is it possible to modify presentation template in order to display my old Web portal style ?.

By the way is it possible to manage private space like classroom (about 300 for my portal). IS the private information published with equivalent performance as public information? I don't think so if private can't use cache...
