Controlpanel dissapeared

Hi everybody,

I've just logged in in and went straight to the admin menu (controlpanel). When I arrived, not a single button was on screen. I cannot change any setting and cannot activate the debugmode. Does anyone have a suggestions? Anything is welcome. Thanks in advance.

No, wasn't the problem. No framework folder in 1.6, but after I logged of, it was solved. Never had that before, but I don't complain. It works. Thanks anyway, J.

Copied modules won't show in 2.0.14

Hi there,

I just installed 2.0.14 and since it doesn't come with any modules, I copied News 1.44 en Newbb 1.6 to the modules folder on my webserver.

After I returned tot the adminside system/modules, I see nothing but the systembutton. No other (inactive) module shows up. I have several 2.0.13.x installations, so it's not new to me.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi everybody,

To stimulate people to register, I want to lock down some content like wordbook or some newscategories. But since 90% of all my traffic comes from Google, I want to make sure that I can be found. So I want to close it down for non-registred users, but keep it open for spiders without them caching my content. Anyone suggestions? Thank in advance

Backup en restore problems Bigdump, backpack, backup & restore 3

Hi everybody,

I'm trying several backup/restore solutions for my XOOPS website.

The first is db backup & restore 3.0. Seemed easy enough, but it simply doesn't backup. I created the directory and CHMOD as stated. After I hit the backup link, it returns a blank page. Any suggestions?

Second try was with Backpack 0.81. Same thing. After I hit the backup link, blank page.

The third try was using a backup and the bigdump.php script as stated in this article: News : About XOOPS MySQL Backups.... The first suprise was that backing up was actually working. But when I tried the bigdump, I got the following error:

Stopped on error

It seems to add 'days' to the SQL query, but I see no evidence in the php file. Any suggestions, I really and I mean REALLY need to backup. Thanks in advance!

Login trouble

Hi everybody,

I have a login problem with my XOOPS 2.0.13.2 site. If I log in, it accepts my credentials, but then it returns to a non-logged in mode. I changed nothing, it just happened and I have no clue, what so ever. Since I can't log in, I can't make a php dump or whatever. It's not my computer, since I have several XOOPS sites, no problems there. Does anyone have any suggestion? Thanks in advance!

Recent newsblock problem after upgrade to 1.44

Hi everybody,

I've upgraded the recent newsmodule from 1.21 to 1.44 after I updated my XOOPS 2.0.7.3 to 2.0.13.2. Everything works just fine, except for the fact that my "recent news" block does to strange things.

1. It puts the publication dat in front of the line, instead at the end (can I change this and where)
2. It only shows 25 character of the title, but if I change that in the blockedit then the "recent news" block won't show at all. It just vanishes. Yes, visible is on and I only change one tiny thing (title size). I update the module again and it appears again, but with the decapted titles.

Does any have a suggestions. Thanks in advance.
