Thanks for the reply, Mithrandir

So how exactly should I modify the backend.php file? Do I change the code NewsStory::getAllPublished to NewsStory::mytopic or something?

I'll try my best to explain this:

I have Site-A that features news-A. Now, I'm building Site-B, and I intend to get feeds from Site-A, but I want only selected news to be fed to Site-B, not every news.

Can it be done?

Yes, it seems to me I need to edit the template, question is: which one?

I have looked at news_item.html under modules/news/templates/ , it seems the story is glued together by the code <{$story.text}>. In what way can I separate the formatting?

I'm new into this, any help is much appreciated.

When viewing the full article, I would like to format the styles of the intro and the extended text differently.

Which file shall I edit if I would like to have extended text formatted in another style?

DjManolo

Thanks for helping. The thread talks about Norton Personal Firewall, the fact is, I'm not using Norton, I use Sygate Personal Firewall, in which I didnt see the option to enable access to certain sites. What I did was I unloaded the firewall, then I tried to browse the page yet the same problem still persists.

This is getting frustrating. I have an installation of Postnuke on another directory, which is facing the same problem too. What could be wrong?

I have just installed XOOPS 2.0.6. After login, when I click Administration Menu, I was told that I do not have the right to access the area! Then I got redirected back to main page. Same thing happened when I clicked on other links.

I set my browser to accept all cookies and lowest security yet it wont help. What else could be wrong? Somebody help me
