Hi, I am currently running XOOPS 2.0.7 and was wondering: Is there any way for me to add my own links to the main menu block? I currently use the TinyContent module to create the customized pages I want for each section, but haven't yet figured out a way of creating links in the navigation bar. I want to be able to put the links in the middle of the other links currently there...not all the way at the bottom or all the way at the top. If there's a module or a template edit that can enable for me to do this, can you please let me know how? Thank you so much!

I guess thats what I forgot to do. So I have to overwrite the existing files that I currently have uploaded by the files located in the "html" folder into my root directory? That I understand.

Once I overwrite the files, what do I do? Do I run the install script again or do I just run the upgrade "xoops_206_to_207.php" patch?

And, when uploading and overwriting the existing files with the new files and doing what I have to do to upgrade, would I be losing any of my data or would it still remain as it is now?

I ran the upgrade patch and it said that the it was successful. But, when I log into my Xoops, it still says "Powered by XOOPS 2.0.6". Isn't it supposed to say XOOPS 2.0.7 if the upgrade was successful?

Hi,

I have a question regarding upgrading from XOOPS 2.0.6 to 2.0.7. Would I be able to use the same modules? (I've listed the modules I currently use below)

I currently use AntiDoS-P 1.1 (found here), Lias (found here), and about three copies of the TinyContent-Duplicate (found here). I also use the "My Downloads" and "News" module that came pre-installed with Xoops.

And if yes, how do I go about upgrading? Would all the data from all of the modules save and be transferred over after the upgrade?

Thanks again!

I have a few questions regarding the modules that came pre-installed with Xoops.

First, the "mydownloads" module. Is there any way for me to get rid of the sub-menu that it creates in the main menu, such as removing the links "Submit", "Popular", and "Top Rated"? If there is, please do let me know how to go about doing it -- I'd greatly appreciate it.

Secondly, for the "news" module that also came pre-installed on Xoops, is there any way for me to get rid of the submenu "Submit News" and "Archive"?
Or, if you know of a module that would allow for me to post news but doesn't create submenus and allows anonymous users to post their names and comments for each article, please post the name and/or the link of the module.

Thirdly, with the "partners" module which also came pre-installed on Xoops, is there any way for me to stop it from pixelating the graphics? For example,http://www.stupider.net/main/modules/xoopspartners/. As you can tell, the button is all pixelated. The original button size is 88x31 and is located here:http://www.stupider.net/linkme.gif. Is there any way to edit the code of this module or something to stop it from doing this?

Lastly, does anybody know of a module that would allow for me to have a block for PayPal Donations or would I have to create my own block for that?

I am sorry for making this so long, but I am so eager for making my site fully in Xoops.

Thanks, in advance, to anybody that helps out!

I've reposted this question in the "Module usage questions". I guess this question is a bit too off-topic. Sorry!

I am a new XOOPS user and am loving it so far. I have a question regarding the "Partners" module. I want to have the "Partners" module help me manage my affiliates, but I've noticed that when I add a partner that it pixelates the partner's button by increasing the size from the original 88 x 31. An example of this can be found here:http://www.stupider.net/main/modules/xoopspartners/. The original button that is 88 x 31 pixels is located here:http://www.stupider.net/imgs/links/starr2k1.gif. Can someone tell me how, if possible, do I modify the module so it doesn't resize the buttons?

Tbanks a lot, in advance, for all of your help!
