Use the Tiny Content Module and make it the front page module...

Then please excuse my name being there 6 times...

Maybe you guys could turn on notification so that one gets an email telling him he has been entered in the waiting list?

At least I'll know I don't need to register again

I've signed up about 6 times on the dev.xoops.org and haven't heard back...

Is it broken or is no one checking registrations?

I started transforming the links module into the same thing but it looks like you are way ahead of me.
I'm still working on reserving books.

If you need a hand give me a buzz.

I will look at this thanks...

why you look for templates on admin ?

I love having three layers: templates, code, objects. It seems to me to be the most flexible solution. The code manipulates the objects and throws it into the templates... This way most queries are only typed once and I don't have to scan code ten times to find a rogue "echo <br>;".

I guess the best code/organization examples are in real modules... like those that you get when you download XOOPS or something else from the modules repository

Also check the Module development topic (and perhaps some template stuff) in our beloved wiki.

It doesn't seem to be very common in the admin part. I looked through a couple of modules but could not find anything (but maybe I was not looking for the right thing...). As for the wiki and the doc I must say it gives some ideas but is kind of criptic or unhelpfull for most advanced tasks. Unfortunately I don't yet have the knowledge to start contributing to it... and I'm very bad at explaining stuff.

I made one with just a right column. (Don't have the source code here and it is still not on a public server....)

You probably only need to go into the main html template and remove the left column completly....

Mine actually has the column surrounded by an if. I can't remember the exact test but it is something like leftblock=1.

I'll look it up later i fnoone post up before then.

Thanks but I cannot have my content managers use ftp (do hard for them...).

I really like the uploading of images to a database.

I tried myAblum-P. It is good but cannot import images from Image Manager if the file was uplaoded to a database...

I'm trying to use templates in the admin for a module.

How could I do this.
Right now I have this but it doesn seem to work.

$xoopsOption['template_main'] = 'template.html';
$xoopsTpl->assign('data' , $data);

Any one know of a module I could use as an example?
I've been using the public side of modules untill now. I guess the footer.php does all the template processing and displaying. What can I do on the admin side?

The System menu in XOOPS offers an image management option.
I though these where the images used for articles.

I uploaded one but it doesn't show up when I want to associate it with an article category.

My question is what is that for. Where can I use these pics?

This options looks so great because it uploads pictures to a database. As my current host doesn't allow file upload I'm going to try to add this to XcGallery. (Unless someone can tell me of a Gallery that has this option)

I can't add anything either.

Go with tplleaguestats. It is much better and Rico? is coming out with an even better one very soon.
