While I am rebuilding one of my xoops-sites I would like to redirect my visitors to another of my sites. What is the best way to do this to get the quickest redirection as possible?

I might have to reinstall this xoopssite so i would prefer a solution outside of XOOPS itself.

Thanks mate! Now everything is crystal clear... ;o)

Maybe there should be a sign somewhere of what version of XOOPS that is running.

Xoops versions and system module versions are two different things. The system module version for XOOPS 2.0.13.2 is 1.01, the system module version for XOOPS 2.2.3 is 2.13.

HTH clear confusion.

Sorry, I dont understand the last sentence? ;o(

Where do I see the version of XOOPS itself?

Well I just did the upgrade in the module page as you do with a normal module..... was that wrong?

I have done something wrong when upgrading to last version 2.2.3a.... ;o)

The upgrade seemed to run OK.

When I look inside the module administration is says that the System module is still 2.13.

So I have tried to run the upgrade from 2.13 -> 2.2.3a and it seems to run OK.

But still 2.13 in the module page.
What can be wrong?

Ahhhh, now I remembered it.

I made a small text file called chmod.php:

<?php chmod("mainfile.php", 0444) ?>

Then I used FTP to transfer it to my site and executed it via Mozilla.....

Voila, all is OK!

Thanks for your help jdseymour
