hi everyone,
iam trying to modify the default theme this time and i got a 2 questions:

1) i make 3 blocks in the center => 1 leftcentre block, 1 middle centre blok and 1 rightcentre block. What happens is the middelcentreblock doesn't come in the middle of the 3 but places himself above so iam stuk with this layout

and i want this

or even more blocks on a horizontal row 5 or 6 is this possible ? if yes please how to do this ?

2) from one of this collums i want to use tiny content in it, how do i get that module into one of the blocks ? and when i click one of the links in it, it has to open a new page with te rest of the content but with a left menu and that is different from the main menu.

o jeee its sound complicated

but what i want to create is something like thishttp://www.radio1.be just klik one of the links in the horizotal boxes and you see what i mean.

sorry for the amount of questions but while iam learning to modify the theme im recording it my intention is to make a theme modifing tutorial. Because i see alot of the same questions regarding customizing the themes in here :)

is it possible if you have a news archive of 1 week to get it molded in one newsletter that is useable to mail it to a mailinglist. So we don't have to copy subject by subject and newspost by newspost ?

tl is right !we found out that is was indeed a permission problem. the user who uploaded in these directories didn't had enough perfs. so we changed it to another user and now it works.

phpdebug gave no errors.

what i found out :

seems that default theme puts the second line automatic in :

<link href="<{$xoops_url}>/favicon.ico" rel="SHORTCUT ICON" />

<link href="http://koerken.syn3.ath.cx/favicon.ico" rel="SHORTCUT ICON" />

and the blanc page of the dana theme has nothing in it ...

but its weird
i put on the smarty debuge console and i get allot of things when i look in the source of the blank page and compare this with the source of the default page i see only the output of the smarty debug console and nothing of my theme.html file ?

hello everyone,

i countered a second problem where iam breaking my head over already a few days

i did a clean install on our server from everything
but i puttede de html files in de root dir of de website meaning www/website/ ... files instead of www/website/html/ ... files

now everything is working fine with the XOOPS default theme but then i copied 7dana clean into the themes dir and i select it in my preferences -> default.

but what happens i get a blanc screen and thats it when i switch back to default theme XOOPS presents me the default theme.


i putted Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory? on yes

anyone have any idea? thanks !!

hello iam new to XOOPS and i read an earlier post on blocks weight.But what i got is a 7dana template installed and used. simple module news is aktive for anonymous user and i made a custom block center right with some text in

everything is nice and working fine however i want that custom text block to apear beneath my news and whatever i put in the weigth box of number like news =0 and custom block= 10 it always appears above the news block.

any clues would be great thanks everyone :)

and i must say i use typo3 before XOOPS and XOOPS rocks my world in simplicity keep up the good work guys !!!
