Thanks. I think this is what I need. So, to modify the way a specific page in a module looks like, then I should upload that file into themes/../?

Any specific directory in themes, or in the root of mytheme?

I'll look at the wiki and see if anything is there, but I have a feeling I'm going to have a hard time finding it...

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have had limited success with modifying templates. I have made sure that "Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?" is turned on, and I have even cleared out the "templates_c" directory.

After modifying the templates in "theme/../" and in "modules/../templates/" and after logging out and logging back in, nothing. No changes.

After checking, I go back into "templates_c" to see what was cached and I see that the original template is there.

Any suggestions?

Selwyn,

Did you end up figuring it out?

I changed it in themes/../theme.html but it the page still still called for a gif. Would you please let me know what you did if you succeeded?

Thanks in advance!

So, I'm loving XOOPS. Installed fine, config fine, having a little trouble finding the perfect modules, but I'll make do.

I'm ready to let a "Moderator" start helping me get some links in, FAQ, ect. The "moderator" group has permissions to do everything under the sun, except in SYSTEM. I have someone who can login just fine, but he can't submit anything! He gets an error "Problem querrying database".

Here's where it gets strange: I login with his user and pass and I can do it just fine. I can't figure it out!

I have some other minor issues too, like the "waiting content" block is showing for Anonymous when the permissions are not set for Anonymous to be viewing it. But, I'm really concerned about Moderators (and potential general users) not being able to write to the database.

Any help is appreciated.

Tony

Thank you. I certainly look forward to that new release of wf-sections!

I took your advice, and updating the menu was no problem. However, I found that after I created a clone of my templates, I could not update the general settings at all! I would hit "GO" after selecting my new default template style and nothing would happen - the browser went blank and the settings weren't updated.

To update the template file I had to edit it locally and upload it. No problem.

[thinking out loud]: The most ideal thing for me would actually to be able to have multiple installations of wf-sections. That way, I could set permissions for different users to edit certain sections. But, that is a little beyond me right now.

I'm new to XOOPS and have never posted before. First of all, let me thank everyone who give their time and energy into helping us idiots! You're the best.

I am looking for a module that will allow me to create content and place a link to it in the Main Menu. Sounds simple, right?

I have looked through all the modules and they seem to want to create a new block for the content created. Is there a module I'm not seeing? Or, is this outside of the realm ofpossibility altogether?

Thanks in advance.

Tony
