Lynette

I've installed this but all my interface shows is database names, no the actual text.

Any ideas?

Hi All

I've installed, and got working, the Japanese version of MyAds.

I'm just kicking around ideas at the moment but what i'd like to do in theory is this and would like to know if it can be hacked pretty easily.

I'm proposing to have 2 levels of registered users, normal registered and super registered. What I want is to have Myads set so that only super registered users can post in it and not just normal registered users. Anyone will be able to view the adverts, anonymous, registered and super registered.

Any assistance greatly appreciated

Please ignore, realised it was due to the block not being set as visible for anon users.

Hi

I'm trying to set up a home page 'welcome' message for all users on entering the site, whether registered or anonymous.

I figured that this was done by setting up a custom block.

The problem is whenever i create a custom block it always appears in the registered users blocks.

Any idea?

I would like to add an image gallery module which lets registered members upload their own images to their own/communal galleries.

I've previously used Coppermine to good effect several times.

Any suggestions/examples of the best gallery module for XOOPS much appreciated.

Hi

I've just got XOOPS up and running, impressed with the simplicity of doing so i have to say!

My site will be UK based and I know that users will complain about the date formating.

Is it possible to change it to a UK format?
