I was checking out wiwimod and its not bad. I think we are better off making wiwimod just as good as mediawiki instead.

There are a few things it lacks like nesting lists.

Also one feature I really like about MediaWiki is thumbnails. But maybe thumbnailing should be a feature of XOOPS image manager instead so all modules can take advantage of it.

I got to say that I tried many CMS packages before and gave up on all of them. Then I wrote a very simple one but I had many issues with it. I wanted to integrate forums, bug tracking, news, newsletter and article management into one package. I wanted to have my customers register once and use the forums, bug tracking, etc with one set of user/password. I used to have a separate phpBB, bugzilla and no way to send personalized emails to my customers.

With XOOPS I got all that and it ROCKS!!!!

I like the group access feature a lot, I drop phpNuke becuase of that.

It took me less that a week to get everything the way I wanted. I created my own theme and modify a few templates. I made some slight modifications to the wfcarticle module. Check in the products section, the content block shows a hierarchy of sections instead of the top level sections. Anybody interested? I can post the code.

In general, I think the product is awesome and plan to contribute to the project, building modules and financially.
