I have looked for some time and I can't find the answer so I am turning to the forum.

I simply want to add alt text to images.
When I add an image using the image manager, this is the code I get:
leftbracket img align=right rightbrackethttp://mysite.org/uploads/img420fbde8d40f5.jpg leftbracket /img rightbracket

I have tried various combinations, but what is the correct way to add an image and alt text?

Thanks

Do you have another link for them?

Thanks

I would like to be able to pay for membership and advertising automatically.

I think I can make the module kshop work for these if I can include a button for sending people to worldpay, paypal or the like.

I want to give the people a way to pay via:
Check (easy)
bank transfer (easy)
credit card ?

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

I am still looking for an automatic billing - payment module.

For example, if someone wants to advertise on the website, they can order one of he choices, arrange payment (bank transfer, Credit Card, check), and receive a receipt.

Any help would be apprecitated.

The page I am working on needs a way for members to sign up for a association, send payment, and receive a bill I guess by creating a PDF.
I have looked at shopping carts etc but people aren't being shipped anything or downloading music etc.
I did see a subscription module in the forums.

The only other thing I can see to do is take another CMS like phpcoin or similar and try to integrate it into XOOPS but having to create two passwords doesn't seem user friendly.

Does anyone have experience integrating another e-commerce CMS into XOOPS?

Thanks,

How to keep a copy of data from Liaise forms in DB

I am looking for the best way to keep information gathered from the Liaise form module, or another similiar module, in the database. Liaise sends an email but it would be great to not have to re-process the information. I thought of an address-book module ...

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Empty Blocks Administration page

Getting a little tired of looking and trying so;

I wanted to copy a site I am working on and downloaded the files and database sql file of the working site.

All the blocks in the admin page are missing,
I tried installing a new version locally with a new user and empty database and I get the same problem.

versions: 2.0.7.3 and 2.0.9.2

Why would XOOPS install fine but have absolutely no modules in the blocks admin page for any user?

Thanks for your try. Unfortunately making your edit didn't work for me.
I have "anonymous users" with the right to view in the group permissions.

I am very much interested in making it work but for the moment I am continuing with a "dummy main menu" redirecting to the user.php file and trying to hide the same dummy package after login. Kinda messy.

Thanks again.

I was wondering if you could use this type of code or similar pasted into the indexes of the modules in the main menu?

"if (empty($xoopsConfigUser['allow_register'])) {

redirect_header('index.php', 6, _US_NOREGISTER);

exit();"

I would like to know if the content pages for "registered users" gets crawled by Google. The site I am working on www.euromarina.org is meant to be a mostly member oriented site and most of the best searchable content will only be for members. How can I get search engines to crawl the pages or is that going against the grain of search engine ethos?

Any feedback on the site would be apreciated, thanks.
