I have looked for some time and I can't find the answer so I am turning to the forum.

I simply want to add alt text to images.
When I add an image using the image manager, this is the code I get:
leftbracket img align=right rightbracket http://mysite.org/uploads/img420fbde8d40f5.jpg leftbracket /img rightbracket

I have tried various combinations, but what is the correct way to add an image and alt text?

The correct way to have alternate text with your image is:

your_text
