Ok, so I've just installed XOOPS, and got past the blank page hurdle. Now, I can log in, but when I go to Administration, it says

"This is your first time to enter the administration section. Press the button below to proceed."

So I do, and it starts to log me in

Logging you in...

But in the top left hand corner it has a small message saying "failed open file".

Then, it puts me back to the "First time" message, and I'm stuck in a loop. Any ideas? Can I re-enter admin.php, or did it get configured during the install?

P.S - Got all the correct PHP Versions etc.

Robert, the thing that solved my blank page problem (about 2 seconds ago) was deleting the index.htm file in the template_c folder.

I think you should add this to your list of "So you've got a blank page..." in the FAQ.

I followed all the instructions, then re-installed, then came looking here and this fixed it.

Hope it can help someone else!
