hi everyone, i have a silly problem.... i have XOOPS 2.0.6 on my site.... but i was working on another project when i accidently saved index.html on the root....

now i cant get into the site, (exept when i typehttp://www.mydomain.com/admin)

has anyone got a quick way to restore the missing file.

i'm assuming its a index.html file....

P.S. if i upgrade my XOOPS to a newer version (leaving the DB intact. am i right in thinking i'll have the site back - minus my customisations?...

(i will read thorugh the forums... but i'm panicking so if someone helps me out before i find the solution please reply to this...even if its a pointer to the right plac in this site)

Thanks!!!!

i have a problem which a newbie like me cant work out but i am sure some of the pros around here should be able to answer,

I have over 3000 files i want available to download from my site, but rather than add each one seperately i rather have directories on my server that i add to, and the potential module would generate a page with a list of all the files for download (without actually revealing the url of each file - to prevent leeching)

my site is y-squared.com and the files i want to be downloaded are ringtones, sorted alphbetically.

I have enrolled to a web development cource, and my site is at the moment a means for me to practice in preperation of the REAL site!

i'd really appreciate any help with this!

If this modules is already around, please could someone point me in the right direction, as i have looked around (honest!)
