Hello dwchap & krzyhoo,

Somehow all the files from XOOPS folder were not uploaded and was causing the problem. So I checked all folders and uploaded all the missing files and reinstalled XOOPs and it worked.

Also read the pre-requisites of installing XOOPS to get a clean installation.

thanks,
Tony

I got my problem solved with the fast help from smdcom, who got into my site and found out where exactly the problem was.

Thanks a lot SMDCOM.

my modules folder didnt have all the required files in system module and some other files. So I uploaded modules folder again and reinstalled XOOPS and it worked :)

Now I'll start exploring it.

Thanks smdcom for your help ;)

Hello Friends,

I have installed XOOPS2 version on my sitehttp://www.orissapages.com

Whole installation went fine and all lights were green till the end and when I clicked on Click HERE to go to your site and it redirected me tohttp://www.orissapages.com/index.php
and it was a blank page.

I tried some options but was not able to find what is causeing this blank page.

I also tried everything on this pagehttp://wiki.xoops.org/wakka.php?wakka=TroubleshootingBlankPage and was not able to generate any error. I have put the error handling in .htaccess, changed the setting in xoops_config table, but was not able to find any error on the page.

The phpinfo file is here and you can find out more details on it athttp://www.orissapages.com/phpinfo.php

I uploaded all the files on site using WSFTP software and I think server is completely fine as there is another Instance of XOOP running on it athttp://www.orissapages.com/forum which I installed long time back from cPanel.

can somebody help me in resolving this as I need to put XOOPS on other sites as well.

Thanks in advance,
Tony

Thanks for the clarification but I forgot to tell you that I am a XOOPS user as well and have it installed on some of my sites. one is herehttp://www.orissapages.com/forum

I could have used it on more sites but was not able to figure out how to get the links part on homepage easily so searched for other directory scripts and the result is whplanet script.

If u can throw some light on that then I will use them in my other websites where I'll be putting other directory scripts.

Anyways I know there are a lot of webmasters here (almost all of them) and they can post their links on my site using the link given in sig.

Thanks,
Tony

Hello DonXoop & Herko,

Thanks for your comments however the description of XOOPS Members lounge goes something like this
"
XOOPS.org Members Lounge

The Members Lounge is the place to talk about anything non-xoops related. Hang out here with the other members!
"

So how can you consider it as SPAM as I have just posted a resource for members to submit their websites and Regarding PR I didnt post on XOOPS for getting Higher PR. I have posted it here for getting some quality links which will help webmasters in many ways and they know it for sure.

So if you dont have a website pass this link to some of your friends who will wish to submit their website to our directory.

Thanks,
Tony
