Yesssssss,

I got my problem solved with the fast help from smdcom, who got into my site and found out where exactly the problem was.

Thanks a lot SMDCOM.

my modules folder didnt have all the required files in system module and some other files. So I uploaded modules folder again and reinstalled XOOPS and it worked :)

Now I'll start exploring it.

Thanks smdcom for your help ;)

Tony

So what was the solution?

Read the whole thread, but then you must've IM'ed each other and figured something out. I'm having the same problem with a Solaris installation - any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello dwchap & krzyhoo,

Somehow all the files from XOOPS folder were not uploaded and was causing the problem. So I checked all folders and uploaded all the missing files and reinstalled XOOPs and it worked.

Also read the pre-requisites of installing XOOPS to get a clean installation.

thanks,
Tony
