Is it possible to import news from other sites based on categories using rss? If yes, which news module do that?

I've installed xoops, configurd, etc, then modified template html file, uploaded it, but XOOPS takes all info from "old one", even I replaced it with new one, when I was using old XOOPS versions system update helped me, but now not, any ideas?

Hello, I'm using newest XOOPS version (beta)... x.x.4
once i login to admin it says:
WARNING: File /home/..../public_html/mainfile.php is writeable by the server.
Please change the permission of this file for security reasons.
in Unix (444), in Win32 (read-only)
But it's 444, is this common bug or my server problem?

I've recently installed many modules on my XOOPS 2.4.4, but "news" having problems, once i trying to enter news modulde admin panel, where i can add topics, etc i get blank screen with no info, tried to re-insall it, update, not works...
