I'm a graphic designer and have been using XOOPS lightly for a few months. I'm making a site using XOOPS 2.0.6 and am using the "PHPKaox" theme included. It is a greeny/grey sort of theme, and I wish to transform it into a grey theme, to match this logo
Resized Image

I've unzipped xoops, found it in unzipped, and html/themes/phpkaox/theme.html, I customized in Dreamweaver to my liking. I then uploaded it into the corresponding directoy on my server, but nothing happened.

Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to edit a CSS or anything else as well/instead of.

Thanks in advance.

I dont know what I want is called, so I just called it PHP/Mysql content management.
I'm looking for something for my website (www.mountainbiking.net.ms), that is somehow able to put into XOOPS via an iFrame or something. I want it for the Reviews, Comps, ect.
This thing is something that you set up, and have your own custom fields (this is all admin only), then it remembers those fields, so you can fill them in at a later date, multiple times, and it posts it on a page like news.
I know it is possible, becuase my friend used it, but I can't get in contact with him lately, so, yeah.
If you have any questions becuase I didn't explain properly, just ask .
Thanks

This has probaly been posted before, but I want to install the "0z_XTv2RC3" skin, but don't know how. I've searched this site for "skin install" but to no avail.
Anyway, i've downloaded it by clicking the little disk next to the title, uploaded it to the /themes folder, but dont know what to do now.
CHMOD? Upload in a TAR? Maybe I did it wrong from the start.
Thanks in advance...

Is there any reliable shopping carts available for XOOPS 2.0. I've searched this site for "shopping carts", "commerce" and "e-commerce".
Or does anyone know of an easy to set up, free shop outside of Xoops?

I am trying to get the posted news to appear on the top page, in full, not just as I have now, which is just a link.
I dont know about advertising rules here, so if you want the link, ask for it.

www.mountainbiking.net.ms
Hi.
First, I'd just like to thank the creators of this portal.
I have been a Web Designer/Developer for years, but I only discovered XOOPS about 2 weeks ago.I've decided to use it for my Mountain Biking Website (MTB Tech), and its been going great. It is uncomplicated, neat, tidy, lots of modules and themes available, and it's very user friendly!

I only plan to use the ".net.ms" domain for a little while, then i'll purchase a domain.

These are the main mtb-related catagories I have chosen.
Forums - Forums to discuss Mountain Biking and anything else.
Reviews - Reviews of the latest products.
Tech Center - Tutorials on things like how to change tyres, through to Hoe the pro's do it.
Events - Upcoming major events in Australia, US, UK, and international.
Photos - Photos of mountain biking, members can submit photos too.
Videos - Download center of videos of mountain biking
Competitions - Competitions to win products
Classifieds - Members can sell bikes and bits online
Along with these, i'll have Online Shop, Polls, Contact, Links, News.

I am looking for ideas on what users/members would want on their ideal MTB site. Tell me if you dont like a catagory above, Tell me if you want a catagory added, ect.
Also, I am looking for a Co-Webmaster - Someone to help out, post news, reviews, ect.
And i'm also looking for some moderators for the forums and site.
Thanks
