Okay, I've made my "hello world" module, but there's somethign that's confusing me. I make changes to templates/foo.html, and they don't show up. That's because the template is actually stored in the database, table tplsource. Isn't that "Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?" option under general preferences supposed to automatically update the database entry when the file has changed?

Obviously I'm missing something here, please help

Yes, it has been set to "yes". Thanks for reminding me, though, to turn it to "off" on the live site. I'm sure my ISP would thank you for it, too ;).

Priority for blocks not working?

Hello all,
I'm having problems with setting priorites on blocks for the order that they appear in. When I make changes to the priority to a block, it simply is not reflected on the page. I tried deleting the cache, same thing. What's strange is that it worked "once", but then it stopped working. I'm running a site in Czech, but I change my local copy back to english sometimes to administrate it.

Has anyone encountered flakiness with the block priority settings, and where should I look at fix this? Are there restrictions on the numbering of the priorities?

Thanks!
-Tom

I'm running XOOPS 2.0.5, and I'm experimenting with creating a module. However, when I make changes to a template, it REALLY isn't changing when I view the page. I deleted the files out of template_c, and also turned on the option in preferences to check for updated files. NOTHING IS WORKING to see these changes, short of uninstalling the module and reinstalling it. Is Smarty caching things somewhere else? Please help

Thanks :)
