Anyhow, I don't know why but the whole user log-in and new user registration don't work anymore!!
(I have tried to add manually an user in SQL but it's still not funtionning!!! etc....)

The "submit" button doesn't work anymore and I suspect that the log-in button doesn't work correctly either!!!

You can take a look at HERE
.
Does any one have any idea of what may cause this bp et how to fix it???

As long as I can't log in as an administrator, I can not do anthing!!!

Thanks a lot!!

Hi, here are my two cents for youre problem.

1) You have to find the table within XOOPS that enables the debug modus. I can´t remember but hope you will find it alone.
After you can see what is causing the problem.

2) If this solution doesn´t work out you have to do more work. Goto to your account at free.fr and activate 1 GB space for your account.
Install a similar Version of XOOPS without language hack in a sub directory. Use another table prefix.
If you enconter problems, maybe some security issues from free.fr punish you. If you can run your test-installation canche the config file with your old database prefix. After you know if you have problems with your database entries.

With this configuration you can manage to run your old site again.

Good luck matangi

Sorry, I use the multilanguage hack and I forgot a field in the user table, so the register-process never finished.

Thanks Matangi

For full description and explanation of this problem read this post

https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=24566&forum=7#forumpost107356.

It is especially prominent with Norton Personnal Firewall.

You have to tell the firewall to allow the HTTP referral, i.e. remember where the user came from page by page. To disable the check all together by hard coding, look at Dave_L's posting.

Hope this helps. Ted

Thank for that,

tried to change the file >> functions.php << like recommended, just to check out if it helps.

But it does not.

The request I recieved was from a user that uses an internetcafe in hungary, so technical explanation to her will not help.

Is there anything else that I can do to make it run? Beside of that I tried it with and without firewall, but I do not use Norton firewall. No change.

If there is something else that I can try I will be happy to hear from

Firewall blocking HTTP Referer

Thanks for the fast answer

That means I have to contact the hoster, an update will not help?

Correct?

I tried some modules, but after posting my feed at syndic8.com it has been rejected, because of wrong format?

Any tipp which module is good to use, when you like to publish your content?

Thank you for any answer or other website that accepts rss-feed.
