thanks thats worked out perfect!

it seems to be theme specific. as it works fine when i select to view in the default XOOPS theme

so I installed XOOPS for my personal site more so to test out certian moduals and such before making a multi user site for my mates band..


I have an issue with newbb though the options menu dropdown well its always down i cant seem to fix it or even hide the whole menu or anything ... for an example of what i mean ...

Well guys I’m building a community site for people to use that like the Ragnarok Online game. I have been working with some people who already have a server up and we found a way to run a legal server for free. Now that we have we have also found a host that will host the game server. So for you Ragnarok Online fans this is going to be huge.

How ever if you look at the following linkhttp://ricero.game-server.cc/home.php you’ll see that this is the Athena server Control Panel which doubles as a small site for that’s community. Notice the top right corner? It displays the servers status’ showing that the account server is up the character serve is up and the map server is up. It also displays the amount of player currently on the server.

Well my site located herehttp://epix-ro.fmgaming.net has a server status monitor up as well; actually it’s just a spoof. How ever that Athena CP reads information from the game server database to tell the servers statuses and amount of currently active players. Now my site uses the XOOPS CMS. The site has its own database while the games main server and the test server each have there own database. I need to find away to get my site to display the server status and player allotment. How ever my knowledge a bout PHP and databases are limited. I guess what I’m asking for is help; the help would have to know there way a round XOOPS and be able to help configure the server monitor. Now being that the information is in a XOOPS block and that the monitor it self would contain a bout 3 file per server its monitoring I’m not sure if a module would be needed to be made rather then a simple block.

login ... not quite while cosmeticaly the remember me function is there i doesn't seem ot be remembering users. I used the 2.0.7 auto login hack.

how ever is there a forum hach thta will let me organize forums with in a catagory and assign users to a mod group and that group is set as a forum moderator in stead of each individule person?

I'm trying ot get the remember me feature ot fully work on my site I can't figure out what files i need otopen and uncomment out the code

Now for the forums, there used to be a hack that allowed privet forums ot be hiden it, allowed user grould to be set to acces privet forums and so forth recently I found one but it does't convert the image ot spanish like the old one did ( not that im complaining but it will wont let me set groups to forum moderation only user even though i can fer a group to access a privet forum.

if your wanting sugestions on things to add I'd like to see it work to where I can select multiple forums and then mass add memebrs add moderators rather then have to go forum by forum.. (just an idea)
