Looking for an affiliate solution

We are looking form an affiliation solution.

We want give some partners a link which they can hang on their website. As soon a visitor of their website click on the button, the visitor will be redirected to our site. As soon the user register we want arhive from which site the vistor came.

What are the workarrounds to realize this wish?

I have tried your site and seems it's working oké.

Though, I have the same problems on my site www.infowinner.nl . On one site it was no problem, going to an other location I could not register. To be clear.

You can fillin the fields click on register, you see the summary and when you than click on finish, I get a warning "Could not register".

Any idea what's going on and what todo against this?

First of all, thanks for the great work on Xoops, I made a lttle donation, though as soon we are online and made some money we will do more.

Anyway we are puzzling to realize some finish toch.

We use the module xasset to sales a software program. In xasset they use some descriptions field which comes out of the database. Unfortunatly we can't get the multilanguage working for the description fields. Any idea how we could activate this, by the smartylanguage?

I understand, but I want only some of the downloads not accessed by soms groups, further, when the download link is known by the user, everyone can access the link!

SO what's the way to keep the directory secure, even when they are not logged in?

I want seucre my doenload area a little bit more. This moment everyone can doenload out of a directory even when they are not logged in. How can I secure a directory where only on registerde users or a specifig group can download.

I supposee .htaccess will help, but please what do I have to put in?
