i just put


php_flag register_globals off

my .htaccess file in XOOPS root looks like this


php_flag   register_globals   off

<Files admin.php>

order deny,allow

deny from all

allow from 216.239

</Files>

<Files "mainfile.php">

Deny from all

</Files>

Options All -Indexes

*216.239 is not part of my ip address i edited it so no one would know what i actually put in there.

<Files admin.php- is on page 8 of the guide

Hey Jonas, I Went From 1.1 To 1.3. And I Followed The Instructions On The Site and It looks like its working well.

*Make A Backup.. Incase Something Goes wrong

And The Module Creates Some New Templates And Changes The Old Ones A Bit.

i Dont Know.

Worked Fine For Me. Went From The News Module In 2.0.9.2 To New 1.3..

1. "Update" The Module.
2. Ran The Update "Script" (yoursite.com/module/news/admin/upgrade.php).. Then Pushed The Button. 3.?Which "Updated" The Module Again. Updating The Info In The Database Wouldnt Hurt So I Pushed The Button..

Thats How I Did It. Not sure its the exact way others did it, but it worked for me.

Default in that dropdown list is a template (Difference Between Theme And Templates)
I'll just quote the good parts

from Herko: To be more exact then ackbarr, the theme is uploaded manually to the theme folder in your XOOPS root dir. Then upload the theme files to the themes folder (naming the folderlike: themes/humbrietheme/theme.html etc.).

Templates can be edited through the template manager in your system admin menu. Clone the default template set, and edit the cloned set to fit the look and feel of your site's taste. The tempates can be edited per module.

If you are trying to edit the theme.html in your themes folder and nothing seems to be changed, be sure that you set "Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?" to "YES" in General Settings!!

I Think The "Selectable Theme" Section Is For The Theme Block. Where the user can select a theme they want to see the site in.

"Default Theme" is right below "Default TimeZone" (in the same page your pic is at)

But you will not see what you select to the default theme until you logout of your site

Does The Submit Download as News from WF-Downloads (v2.0.5a) work with AMS (v2.2)? or does it need a hack.. I havent installed AMS Yet so i am wondering.

I turned off my site and turned on debug mode (mysql/block debug). and found

that 'xoops_lastseen' Table is missing

Help Would Be Good.
