lol... Well, the hardest part has been changing the value for the textarea message box in cbb.... I still haven't gotten that to happen. I have reduced the cols and rows in xoopseditor and several other places, but that message box stays the same size no matter what editor, etc.

I am moving to Canada, so I guess it's pennies. I'm not sure.

Thanks for the input and I couldn't agree more.

I have noticed that the core stylesheet, xoops.css kills many professional templates when you are using XOOPS to run the site. I removed it from the header of the template and it works fine. However, it takes modification of the module template and system block files to make them work right after doing so. (see example athttp://favorgreen.com) Has anyone else noticed this? Are there values in xoops.css that can be changed easily so they don't break pro templates?

I have used XOOPS for many client sites over the years and have noticed the template limitations getting worse, not better. So I have started using pro templates here and there and just integrating them into existing XOOPS templates, and I feel the sites look better. However, some of the modules like contact and newbb never seem to look quite right. Comments? Suggestions?

So I broke down and built a client's site with the "new" xoops.http://favorgreen.com

"FavorGreen.com is a non-profit user-driven portal with online tools and communication resources for eco-friendly people everywhere. On this site you will find a community of friendship, shared knowledge and social support on the path towards a brighter future of healthy, sustainable green living. Join us and join yourself with others who share the same green values and beliefs. The site is 100% free and we welcome you to join, teach, learn and live in green harmony. We can all take individual steps that will collectively help to heal the world as a whole. Lead by example and help manifest this new green reality."

So, let me know what you think. I had to kill the xoops.css stylesheet and modify a lot of templates to get it to work with the template monster template he wanted. I was hesitant to use a beta version of xoops, but I felt like my 2.0.18 sites were being left behind.

I am having an issue with a host transfer.... I transferred the site. I changed mainfile.php.... however, it still parses some links and other things like the stylesheets with the old urls. Even the login directs back to the old site. mainfile.php is changed, and the links are not hard-coded into the templates. Any suggestions?

No problems really except the small hacks to fix the new categories and forums.... One little thing. At the top where it says "you last visited" etc.? It shows you have posted 0 times no matter how much you have posted. I stripped all of that nonsense out of my templates anyway, but it could be a problem for someone eventually.

Personally, I have found it works best if you call the module something like "My Network" and only allow access to logged in members. OR don't even put it on the main menu. Then you reach your profile through the user menu, and others can view your profiles via the membership module.

I am using the original yogurt module (3.2) with XOOPS 2.3.3. Everything works fine. No photo edit error and the videos work. I used it to replace the profile module and have it running integrated with the membership module to replace the over-complicated member search page. I have been using 3.2 on a variety of high traffic production sites for over a year with no problems, on XOOPS 2.0.15, 2.0.17, 2.0.18 and now 2.3.3. I find the module easy to work with and customize as long as you set your groups permissions correctly, everyone loves it.

That's the updated version I found and fixed up a little.

I found an updated version of this module somewhere but I lost the link.... Updated in July and it works perfectly on 2.0.18. PM me if you need me to re-zip it and upload it. I also fixed a few poor english translations and added a title and submit button at the top.
