First I would like to say thanks to Hervet for his answer in the FAQs.

The mypage module is actually a simple module you create yourself and upload to your server and install it the same way you do any other module. I like it because it is easy to figure out from Hervets instructions and it allows me to hide it from the Main Menu, yet call it for other users from the startpage module or by denying or allowing access from the group permissions.

I used to have it templated and will look to see if I still have it zipped up for you. But the best way to learn it is to do the step by step instructions from Hervet. Don't worry about the comments section of the FAQ for this, just do it like Hervet says and it should work perfectly!

Will let you know soonest on the zip file.

I would take a look a these two F.A.Q.s to get a better understanding of how you can do it and it isn't as hard as it may seem to be.

I have done a similar thing with one of my sites and used the mypage technique along with mystartup modules together. This enables me to have a Welcome page (the mypage module) with content just for the guests and then when a member logs in the registered member has a different startpage.

Mypage Module is located here:https://xoops.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=280

And carnuke explains some other things very well too!

You should be able to go into xoops/adminstration/system/modules then find the myhome module and give it a zero "0" for the order number. 0 = hide.

check your newbb admin, probably module preferences or when you create the forum or under edit forum and set it there. Not able to check my own right now that why it sound more like guessing, but the setting is in your newbb module admin for the module itself or the created forum.

I am no expert on newbb and am just getting started with it myself, but look in your newbb module admin area probably somewhere in the edit topic for a selection to Make the Topic Sticky. As the site admin/webmaster you should have permission to do this. Making a topic Sticky is supposed to keep it first above other posts.

There are some excellent Hacks out there by various xoopsers. I like many of them myself but after using a few have decided to stay away from Hacks whenever possible. It has proven to me to be a very ugly problem when updating my XOOPS version and some module versions depending on the scope of the hack and number of files in which the hack requires me to make changes. I know there is a module out there somewhere which will reportedly manage your hacks for you but I still have had difficulty when updating do to other tasks. I prefer updating my site to go smoothly, quickly and efficiently.

All IMHO of course, and to help those who may want to use a hack to beware of what can happen to a site which uses hacks then must update or for whatever reason need to do a fresh install to a newer version of XOOPS or a newer module version.

xoopseditor-1.21
Frameworks-1.20
CBB-3.08

Thank you everyone for all the help.
