Thanks for teh hint. Didnt know it befor. It works in the news module but not in the forum. See my first post above.

It adds a space (empty line) between the two images. Any way to remove this ???

OOpss.
Here again the same problem. M i doing something stupid ??
The second picture always starts at the end of first one. No matter how much (enter) do i have between them.

Guide me please.

Hi
I m having few small issues with News Module. They are not actually errors but i cant get them to work. I will keep posting them here in this thread. I hope the great XOOPS community will guide me.

Ok. I m using News as a Software & hadware Review module. so i want to do something like you see in this picture.

Yes I do. That’s completely an other story that I usually take hours to do the things that need just few minutes

Anyway, with your help, I manage to hide the actual path not exactly the way i thought but it will work for now.

Now i have one more question.

I m adding a small screensavers collection and few webs just allowed me to link to there html pages. DO as i download URL i have to add (www.screensavers.com/nature1.htm)
By doing this The other webpage opens up in the same window leaving my web completely. (You need to use Back button to come to web again)

Can this be open in another window ?? Or inside the web( As Center Block)

Sad News. :(

Looks like its a Hacky season.
Coz its the 4th site i heard about in this week.(the other two are not XOOPS related) But all of them was hacked by a group named Spykids.

Combine Registration ?? Is this possible ?

Module from bbpixel.com limits users from making many changes to 4iamges. So i have it as a stand alone version.

But I desperately was looking for something that could be of some use. So I m going to ask this.

Is this possible that the standard XOOPS registration page can be used to register the user at 4IMAGES. 4Images registration need 3 things ( Username, Pwd and Email ) while XOOPS have a lot of other options. So is there any way around this can be done. ( I mean using one input filed for two different Databases/Scripts)
More exactly .. If a user register at XOOPS page, He got register at 4images as well.

If this could be done, users will need not to register twice and they will have one user name on both scripts. (Certainly the need to login separately But at least it will be of some use coz Something is better than nothing)

I am not a programmer but I hope my words are understandable. Pardon me if I am asking something stupid.

What i am asking, i have seen this on few sites running Mydownloads.
But i really dont know how much change will it cause.

Even if this is not possible with PDdownloads, Atleast some one could tell me so that i stop asking it again.

Ok . Here is my question to Hervet or any develeper.

Can't this be done by editing Latest News block? And by "This" i mean to show 3 latest news (storyid) from each storytopic in the main page. Just titles no any detail.
Exactly the same way as we see
"Xoops", "Modules", "Themes" & "YAXS".

I didn’t know that it’s just a small little change.

Its working now but I think this can be further improved. What I want to say is when click on download button, the next thing you see is where to save the file. Instead of getting the new page in the same window.
So basically I don’t want to show "Download in Progress" and especially Direct link to the file from
“If your download does not start, Click here!"

I hope this will again be a small change. If it’s quite complicated or can not be done. I can live without this. But if it can be achieved that will be Great.

And about second thing,
I thought changing bytes to KB will save the time coz I have everything in KBs. But never mind, its working perfectly now. Although I need to have a calculator to convert the size.
