Thanks for teh hint. Didnt know it befor. It works in the news module but not in the forum. See my first post above.

It adds a space (empty line) between the two images. Any way to remove this ???

See the pic.

I'm not familiar with this version of the forum, but in v1 you could aloow/disable HTML tags for each forum. Probably it is the same here ...

As for the spaces with
tag I don't know :(

However if you need more control with the presentation probably you could use table ...

I am actually trying to save the space. I already did it by reducing the font size. Now this emty line will trouble things esp when i will have 4/5 links to show in the news. So i need to remove this.

Please help me.
Any way that i can report this to hervet

Probably you will have to edit your block template and/or theme CSS file. Is the site online?

I am no expert so if i am to edit any template file. Please guide me what to edit.

I dont think its related to CSS.

I have seen few other XOOPS sites and all of them have the smae issue. I mean the second image in news post either start after the first one or
tag adds a new line. SO I guess its a small issue with module.
Sorry if i am wrong.

Hi,

what version of news/xoops are you using?
And what block is that, "Navigate thru topics" maybe?

1) XOOPS 2.0.13.1 & News 1.4
2) If you are asking about the pic then its the default block (index page)

And i got this issue with all the versions of News module (1.1, 1.3, 1.3.11 & now 1.4)

It looks like there is some problem with HTML tags when using in news module. If u have any test site try it yourself. Yow would not be able to link two images in one news without adding space between them ( i bet you )
