I've tried News 1.4 and the newest beta of myAlbum-P, and they seem to work. piCal seems to be fine also.

Static content module with XOOPS 2.2.2?

Hi,

I am looking for a module that will give me the ability to wrap existing HTML pages and also create new content, in a WYSIWYG editor if possible... anyway, teh important point is that it should enable me to create content with images inserted in the page.

And it should work in XOOPS 2.2.2.

Please help. It's a jungle out there..

You might try the latest version of myAlbum-P from the developers website. I've installed it in 2.2.2 and have not had problems with it. I think it will do the things you ask for...

Ooops.. sorry landon,

I should have told you that Swedish is my native language, so I did know what that message meant, semantically.

I was just wondering if someone on this forum had more info regarding when it is to be re-opened.

Is there a news module with small Latest News block?

Hi,

I fiddled with XOOPS 2.0.x a while backa and found some things that I liked, but decided agains continuing due to the lack of flexibility in the member profile system.

Now, with the 2.2.2 release, this seems to have been taken care of... thanks all for the good work!

However, now I am searching for a module that will give me a specific look on the "Recent news" block. The look I am looking for is approximated here. Does anyone know which module this is?

I installed and tried the News 1.4 module, but the Recent News block I got was too large. I need something minimal.

Please help.

Moving a XOOPS installation... Is this possible?

Hi all,

I would like to migrate an existing site, with contents, to XOOPS. Now, while working on the new site I would like to not have to take the old thing down, and I would really like to not clutter up the / directory with mixed site files.. (what goes where?)
So, is it possible to install XOOPS in a XOOPS subdir and then , come release time, relocate the old stuff to a backup dir and move the XOOPS stuff to the / direcory, without the databases becoming all screwed up?

If this is possible, what are the steps needed?

Email user with required group?

Hi,

It seems that the standard emailing facility of XOOPS 2.2.1 gives the ability to send email to users based on them belonging to EITHER one of some specified group. (e.i. an OR relationship)
However, is there some module that gives the ability of a AND relationship? Such as, users that must be member of one group and also be a member of either one of a couple of other groups?

This may be an issue with core langugage packs not working in 2.2.1. I will have to port the Swedish pack in order to find out...
