Hi,

I fiddled with XOOPS 2.0.x a while backa and found some things that I liked, but decided agains continuing due to the lack of flexibility in the member profile system.

Now, with the 2.2.2 release, this seems to have been taken care of... thanks all for the good work!

However, now I am searching for a module that will give me a specific look on the "Recent news" block. The look I am looking for is approximated here. Does anyone know which module this is?

I installed and tried the News 1.4 module, but the Recent News block I got was too large. I need something minimal.

Please help.

You can get any look you want with the news modules.

1. Block configuration
2. Template
3. CSS
4. Block placement

Try clicking "Edit" on the recent news block in the blocks admin. and play about with the options.
I run News 1.3 and I can get the same look; so I am sure 1.4 can do this also.
