To get a good idea what module(s) are php5+ compatible,.. please share it within this thread to inform the XOOPS users community.
Not everybody has already php5 to test it out, those who do,..share the information.
Also developers of modules

One heck of a search hack/patch.
Has this already been applied to the xoopscore 2.018 yet?

It would be sad to see this lost and leave it just as a hack/patch

Indeed nice, but unfortunately only for USA/Canada.
I would like to see the standard form as presented (see link) Maps - Outside US and Canada
How can this be done?
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/main.adp?country=GB

Help would be appreciated

Until then I and other users depend on information given by others.

The standard mylinks module has been made php5 compatible.
See and download:
https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=3968

Runs in every xoopsversion.
No known problems.

Don't get me wrong, I really love to see progress on the XOOPS and developing. But I have to say naming it XOOPS and giving it the versionnumer 2.0.18 is also confusing me.
Does it mean that this XOOPS version is going to follow up the official XOOPS version 2.0.17 ?
In what way the XOOPS core dev team is involved?
Or are we getting a third XOOPS release which isn't compatible with 2.0.17 and 2.2 ?
How many teams are developing XOOPS seperately?

Again I am totally XOOPS lost..... and would like to get some clarification.
Thanks in advance!
