also, it doesnt seem to find the image that I uploaded to "pm/images" (the heart, as instructed on the readme). I cant view source on XSAS for whatever the reason, so I dont know where its exactly looking for it...

mschot, I am testing your module and it works well (on XOOPS 2.23, so opposite to what a message here says, it works on latest xoops). I see some errors that I describe below:

1) on 'http://localhost/xoops223/modules/MLSFriends/myfavorites.php': if I click on 'view profile' on any of my favorites it goes to 'http://localhost/userinfo.php?uid=2' and it cant find that page. note that it seems to loose the xoops223 part of the path.

2) if on the same page I click on 'show interest' it works, I see the message that the interest has been sent, but then it also looses the xoops223 part (going tohttp://localhost/modules/profile/userinfo.php?uid=2, page not found). I guess these two are related and hopefully an easy fix. 'delete favorite' (the third option on that same page) works ok though.

other than that AFAIK everything works (and as I already said, this is a GREAT module .

thanks arowana, but I already figured that. the problem is I dont think the register part has a template (or I cant find it).

ok, a solution to number 2 would be asking only for the basic data on register page (username, password, email) and then when they finish the register process (after the page that shows your data and asks for confirmation) to send them to another page (right now it goes to main page) where I can place a link to 'edit profile'. can this be done? also, wouldnt it be better if after completing registration the user is logged in? if this isnt possible the login page would be better than how it works now (it goes to the mainpage)

Hi,

I want to modify the look of the register page [/xoops223/modules/profile/register.php] but I cant seem to find where this is...is it on a template? I tried modifying the php file itself (register.php) but I cant find where it writes the code.

Also, is there a way to have two pages on registration? I want users to input the essential data on one page (username, password) and the go to a page where they can fill optional info (like country, interests, etc) and then register (or skip this page and register with the essential data). maybe I dont need two pages but if so I would like to separate in any way (horizontal rule, another color, for example). is this possible?

I also want to use articles (I'm testing it, and it seems a goos combination of power/simplicity). do you know if its possible to clone the module? I would need more than one articles...

I would really appreciate a module like that. I'm building a site that is not exactly a personals site, but I think it would benefit from this, kind of like a 'bookmark a friend' or my list off buddies. BTW I really wanted to test your site, so I created a profile (cacarulo) that you can delete (I already have a latinsoulmate that may not believe my interest is just seeing how the site works

Anyway, your site is REALLY good and I love to see XOOPS inplemented in different ways (compared to the typical XOOPS site, which for sure its not)
