Yep - that was it. How odd. I uninstalled everything, deleted the database, and started from 2.0.14 and then updated to 2.0.15 and it's working fine now.

Bit of a bug there I fancy. How do you report such bugs again - I forgot.

2.0.15 Continual Looping

I've just done a fresh install with 2.0.15. Everything has worked fine during the install, but whenever I click on 'Administration Menu' it loops back to index.php without taking me to the admin page? If however, I click on something else first (for example the Notifications option or 'View Account') I get a repeating message of "No User Selected! Please go back and try again." for about 8 or 9 times, until eventually it stops and returns to the homepage.

Weird?

Is this an XOOPS issue, or could it be a server (permissions) issue?

Yes - that is correct. 2.0 is the suggested version for production sites.

Interesting that the 2.0.14 release fixes the problem. I did not know that and have not yet upgraded.

I'd like to ensure that when a user registers, the 'Notification Method' is set as 'E-mail' by default as opposed to 'PM' as it is currently. Any ideas on how to do that?

How to ensure notification tick box is ticked by default - MyAlbum

I'd like to adjust MyAlbum so that when a user submits a picture, the 'Notify me when a new comment is posted' is automatically ticked. On my Lost-Doggies web site, lots of my users are submitting pictures but then never seeing the comments made by other users because they don't realise they can tick the tick box to be notified of such comments. If I could turn it on by default, they'd get notified.

My recommendations are

Black Widow - BlackWidow is a multi-function internet tool. It is a web site downloader, site mapping tool, site ripper, site mirroring tool, website scanner and an offline browser. Use it to scan a site, and create a complete profile of the site's structure, files etc. I use it at work for capture of websites conducting fraudulant activities. Quote:
As an example, our web site was exactly like this on a specific date...
- and that is why I use it at work!

Then there is WebZip. Arguably more user friendly and would probably suit your needs better seeing as what you have described you need. Enables full offline navigation on CD or whatever,

Hope that helps.

Glad to be of assistance

I'd chase up your web host though regarding the physical path values of their server though so that you're not forced to disable the check.

Off the top of my head, the features I require, to name a few are :

Initial Invoices to unsubsribed members
Reminder Invoices to late payers
Annual expirary of membership resulting in auto-deletion of site user account
Auto Invoicing for expired membership
Annual Renewal of membership subject to payment of invoice
Online Payment Methods (perhaps)
Export to Spreadsheet
Interaction with membership module (perhaps)
Storage of name, address, e-mail address, company name, fax number, etc

I will Edit this post as others occur to me. I have not tried xAsset so will have a look at that, but if it does not Invoice, that's no good for me.

Currently, in my case, it's the treasurer who does all this manually and he then notifies me about new\renewed members and I create\remove a web site account for them depending on what they have decided to do. A module that could do all of this for us would be great and save a non-profit organisation A LOT of time.
