Try to use www.patioscordobeses.com and say me how much time need in your Country/City to complete load.

Try this other: www.tiroconavancarga.com and the same.

Hmm, yeah, both take around 30 seconds load... (I'm in the UK)

BTW, I forgot to change admin>pref>general>Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?

Yes, this will create extra load if set to "yes" (in fact it tells you that you should set to "no" once the site is live).

You should also consider caching modules and blocks. Especially heavily used and more intensive modules like the forums - but you may want to set forums (or modules that are updated frequently) to a lower refresh rate, otherwise visitors may experience a "lag" between posting and the replies showing up.

I know what's happening now, and will release an update ASAP.

Could you let me know what version of PHP you are using? Also, anyone else who's having this problem...

Thanks.

Can I make a suggestion - why not have a version status in the admin somewhere, similar to the one phpBB now has.

Basically, when an admin logs in, they're presented with some text in green if they're using the latest version, or text in red with some blurb about the latest update...

If you mean my Articles module, then no, it currently doesn't.

The ability for users to add articles has been one of the most requested feature for it, so I'll probably add it for the next release - I don't know how soon this will be as there's a fair bit of stuff that will need to be added.

This could happen if you are using the Swedish language files for v0.09.

Unfortunately, there is currently no Articles language pack for versions above 0.09, so it either has to be updated, or the swedish language files folder deleted and the english files used.

If you have access to it, check the error log for your site as more info for error 500 is normally logged in there.

This is a reason for having for ratings and comments - if more people rate modules, and/or comment (hopefully accurate and useful comments) on them, then it would be easier for others to evaluate them better for download.

It would also be easier for us module developers to improve the modules with "proper" feedback.

I constantly read threads where mod users have issues with a buggy mod, The mod's developer answer the threads and gives a fix or tweak. This is fine, but why doesn't the developer just put up a new file for download with the fix included. It is just nightmarish trying to finding all the threads with the tweaks and fixes scattered all over these boards for a buggy mod. It's just not a competent way to run a site, especially for a development package like Xoops.

I think some developers put too much emphasis on adding new features too early, rather than getting one feature working properly before adding another.

I've had a look and it can be downloaded here:https://xoops.org/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=428

It seems it's not listed under the XOOPS 2.0 modules category, but just under "modules".
