Enable the debug option from system -> preferences. and get the error code and post it here.

Check the module directory hope you dont have it like this for example new->news->then files
so you it should
news->files

The header is designed by mtechnik. but that domain is no longer available but the place i downloaded the header i sent them an email

I meant that we have lot developers of xoops. I am also not a developer but learner. if we want to bring XOOPS on top then we our XOOPS developer team at least should give one hour of thier time every day for developing new moudles for XOOPS and improving its native modules. But personally i think not a good idea copying joomla or drupal modules. it is my personal opinion. about the forum scripts, galleries and other scripts which are not joomla and drupal native scripts. yes we should port them.

But why we should port from drupal and joomla. why dont we create modules to compete thier modules. i think it is better we should develop modules that should compete thier modules.
