Hey all

Having a bit troubles with my site.

Have some new modules i would like to install. My problem is that the new modules dont show up on the module site in the admin panel. Need to get it done pretty soon as people are counting on me to get it done :) Have ofc installed them accordingly

Anyone know what the problem might be?

What module is it? It could be that is too old, and it breaks XOOPS or PHP.

What PHP version do you have?

What version of XOOPS are you using?

if it's 2.3.0+, then change your Admin theme to "default" and you'll have it there.

In order to help you we need to know what modules you're trying to install, and what version.

Without knowing what versions you're using, it's hard to help you.

This is the same as somebody would call a car dealer and say: "Please help me - I just got new tires and they don't fit. Without knowing exactly what car it is, and what tires (incl. sizes) he's got - it's hard to figure out what is wrong"

The PHP version is 5.2.3 - the XOOPS version is 2.3.3 :)

The modules i have put in my modules directory now is:

Magazine 1.2
Newbb 3.08 (danish version from xoopsnordic)
Smartsection 2.13

Have tried but deleted:
Newbbex, dont know what version
CBB 3.08

The funny part is that i recently tried to install AMS 2.42, that worked and Liaise is also showing. But not the 3-4 modules i want to get working

The frameworks i hopefully have installed correctly is 2.3

Do you need anymore details?

And Waqar, have checked everything is installed correctly. They are indeed done right.

OK, that was easy one

Magazine 1.2 doesn't work with PHP5.

XOOPS reads modules alphabetically. If one breaks the chain, then all the others afterwards won't show up anymore. Therefore:

Newbb 3.08
Smartsection 2.13

won't show up if you have Magazine.

Delete the Magazine folder, and you should see the other modules.
