I know I have to reup all my themes... Sorry for the lateness.

In the meanwhile, you can download the WF Univers pack, including WF_Solaris.

He he, first casualty of the "no core module" policy, uh?

You must install a cont module on your site. Look for edito, smartsection, news, page, and many other you will find in the module repository.

Check in documentation to know how to install them on your site.

You may need to tweak some of your css data.

Check your template (there is a table in the help section which will help you determine which menu correspond to which template) and spot the css line corresponding to your title indentation.

Line with a '*>' are corresponding to ie settings only.

Ok, back to topic now. There are some interesting ideas arising.

I personnaly defend the position of havint at least some modules included in the Core, because I believe it is as dumb as delivering an empty packet. What would you think if I sell you a car with just an engine and four wheels?

I don't think the core package has to be updated each and every time a core module knows some changes. We have some very good and stable enough modules out there who could suit perfectly... for staters. Think about how many people have used the old core module for years...

Having a 6 pack module wouldn't hurt, and would encourage the starter to carry on with Xoops.

No need to email me. I have my eyes everywhere! Muhahahah.

Indeedly, I'm currently working on a new module who would include the functionnalities of Uservisit. I take note of your request.

[XOOPS] Designing a default module pack for Xoops Core

I'm opening the discussion here as following the 2.0.14 version. This latest XOOPS version does not include any modules anymore. Why not create a XOOPS module pack.

I know this discussion has been already leaded somewhere else in the past. I think that with this new politic, we need to open it again.

So here are my questions:

1) Do we have to include module along with the core files, or do we create XOOPS module packs?

2) What kind of module and which module would you suggest to include?

There is nothing wrong. The fact is that if all your mainlinks are refering to the same module, all the related sublinks will open. Mainlinks directory are compared with the current page module directory. If it refers to the same module, it opens the sublinks. There is unfortunately nothing you can do against this.

Maybe you could try some other dynamic css menus?
