well the frameworks little addition was not mentioned in the installation instructions on Dugris's site..

Yes I know of captcha include in cbb version 4, hope it'll be vailable soon and, most of all, next XOOPS core will implement many of the useful add made by phppp or gjoe for example

anyway now all is working good and I have captcha for comments and CBB posts
thanx for the help

well I find the workaround..
it was an include missing because in cbb fomr is loaded via Frameworks files.

So after making the normal step suggested by Tobias you should add this line in Frameworks/xoops22/class/xoopsformloader.php right before the end
include_once XOOPS_ROOT_PATH."/class/xoopsform/securityimage.php";

and you're ok , you can test it on my site here
http://xoopsworks.isgreat.org/ where this great hack/module is added to CBB 3.08 and XOOPS comments

ciao

@Tobias
I update this thread about captcha..
the code you posted some posts back for CBB it's ok for fast reply.. but it'n not working on main form for new/reply post.
Simply nothing happen and the image is not loaded, no php error or else, the control on post php is working and ask me for correct security code.
Working on CBB 3.08, last framework, just tried to change the code position of the code in forumforminc.php but nothing changes.... the security module is working ok on general comments

any idea?
thanx

Hi Chappy,
the folder of the theme is still messed up and full of test files.... for the moment I would like to have feedback about possible visualization problem under different browsers I can't test (such as those for linux) and general suggestion about improving usability/acessibility of the theme

In a few I hope to have a final release for download

Hi there all..
finally I find some more time for working on templating for Xoops.
I followed with interest the discussion on the 'perfect' three columns css theme here, the structure being ported Skidoo2 it's probably one of the best ever created and I've worked on it in some test site a couple of months ago (http://ianez.altervista.org/xoops)...

To make it shorter... in the last weeks I've reworked and ported the entire structure of Skidoo2 trying to reach a flexible structure, capable to have 1/2/3 columns with no problem and obviously in pure css.
I put the code in my general XOOPS theme structure Scratchy
And the result is a theme which I decide to call 'Minimalist' for it's very simple graphic but very high efficiency.

Here some features:

*From Skidoo*
- 3 column liquid layout pure css
- Equal height columns (able to have their own bacKground)
- Working for IE and ffox (pc and mac)
- valid xhtml code
- Nicely degrading with no css

*New*
- Working automatically with 1/2/3 columns (thanx smarty)
- Css completely reordered and restructured for Xoops
- clean design
- Accessible navigation for non css browsers
- Special High Contrast version for low-vision users
- Added CSS for print
- Implementend free resizing under IE (now the theme freeze at a min-width)
- Almost Css Valid (because I used an expression for IE resize not allowed by W3c... but this can be solved if you love to show validation banner..)

You can test this athttp://xoopsworks.isgreat.org selecting 'minimalist3' from the block on the right and playing with column toggling...

ATTENTION! This is not an official released theme! it's only for testing and discussing in XOOPS Community... it's not intended for production sites!

Hope to have feedbacks and test on this.
If you want you can use my site forum
Ciao!

HI there,
I've a strange problem with the latest news module, from 1.5 to 1.53...
When I try to insert a topic ora to post a news when I send the form (admin and user side either) I get a blank page with no error or else. I can't add a news in the end.
It seem like the redirect process don't work.

The strange part of the story is that I suspect is something in my hosting configuration. Because installing it locally I don't have this kind of problems. I've sites running on many servers, only on one I've this problem with some XOOPS installations, using news 1.44 solve the problem but I would like to understand what's happening...

There must be a function or else added by news 1.5 which is not working on this server... if someone could suggest me which one I can ask my hosting provider to solve the problem.
I'm on apache/linux, php5, mainly with XOOPS 2.0.16.

Thanx
Ian
