I think that the CAPTCHA is the perfect way to prevent that a Bot gets inside of our site, i am sure that is very annoying to look to the image and include more information in addition of the common pass and user but is for security.

Is more i want to develop any hack to implement the CAPTCHA in the registration form too, but i dont have the time now.

As well as teh CAPTCHA feature should be developed de feature to bann users registered to login to the XOOPS system after a system administrators decides that the user hada done a malicious use of the site.

As i read someone has been trying to implement the captcha in the login no??? any success??

try to use the nex code... very simple...

//Make an XoopsUser object giving the user Id as Variable

$otherUser = XoopsUser( $theIdfromTheTable );

//Now you can get all the info from the user whith the getVar method.

$otherUname = $otherUser->getVar( 'uname' );

$otherEmail = $otherUser->getVar( 'email' );

the official release of XOOPS 2.0.15 has a known bug in xoopsform???... the downloadble version has the bug???

yes you are right you can chnage it on the language area... it is in "language/english/mail_template/lostpass1.tpl"...

In what moment of the installation is the problem where the pages get blank???

There are many posible problems, please tell us when the site started to show the white page?

You can use a dirty way to send e-mails, i think that if you edit the e-mail field of the original admin account and you change the admin e-mail and you put two directions instead of one separated by comas it would work, ( never tested, but in theory it should work )

i dont understand your question... in windows all the files are redeableand writeables for the server... not like unix... it should be working... have you tryed to make it work???
