Ok, the module repository has:

Galeria 1.2.6
Magalerie 1.8
myAlbum-P
RM+Soft Gallery
xcGallery RC 1.1
XoopsGallery

Which module do you use?
Why did you choose that particular module?
What features with that particular module do you like?
Is there features that you would like to see added?
Is there another module that you now wish that you had used instead?

I want exactly this :

Copy this into a text editor:
<?php
  header
("Location: http://moddin.net/");
?>

Then save it as index.php in your root directory.
Then whenever someone goes to your site, they will see "exactly this"

A basic front page article "this is what this site is all abbout"

Create a custom block in your Blocks Administration.

Place it in Centre Block - Centre and only visible in "Top Page"

Quote:
Then the option to show "news" headlines below that.

Again place a block from your "news" module Centre Block - Centre and only visible in "Top Page" and give it a weight value higher than the custom block that you created for your "welcome page"

OK, thanks for the reply. I'll try to stop worrying. I was just a bit nervous after the recent attack on the XOOPS site.

I think I need to die some of these grey hairs that I've aquired in the last few days.

If you google "Free Graphics" it returns about 186,000,000 links. You should be able to find what you are looking for.

I just updated the message with the new loggings. Hopefully someone can put me at ease soon.

I'll second that.

You add extreme value to the XOOPS community James.

Take a bow.

I just checked my protector log and found the following loggings.

Are these messages something to worry about? I guess that it means that I'm protected. Should I take any further action or can I just relax with the knowledge that "protector" is doing its job?

The 203.155.1.244 is me, but I don't know why it has logged me with "misc smilies"

That should be the order that they are already in.

Why do you want to play with the order? maybe I'm not getting you. The whole idea of a relashional database is that order is unimportant, thats what indexes are for.
