Great find! A multi-language version of this would be nice for the XOOPS community.

Your site is only a month old. Older sites tend to rank higher.

Developers are discussing the release process for XOOPS 2.0.17 and 2.2.5 here.

There is also some discussion on publishing a roadmap after the XOOPS 2.0.17 and 2.2.5 releases.

Very hopeful and interesting reading in the sourceforge forums . It seems the developers are feverishly working to accomplish this monumental task.

XOOPS 2.0.16
PHP 4.4.7
MySql 4.1.22-standard
CBB 3.0.8
Firefox 2.0.0.6
Default Theme and Template

Recently I've noticed that the tool sets such as link, email, flash, etc. in Extended DHTML form no longer work properly. I can click on the insert email address button or another button and the context popups appear asking for the information to insert but after entering the information and clicking ok, nothing is inserted in the text area.

Everything works perfectly in Internet Explorer and has worked fine in Firefox until recently. I'm thinking that this problem started after the latest update to Firefox, but I'm really not sure. I have two computers and have the same problem with both.

I also noticed that Extended DHTML form works fine using Firefox in CBB's admin section.

I have a test site set up on my local computer that basically mirrors my online site. I'm not having any problems with it whatsoever. I use XAMPP for the test site so PHP and MySql versions are different.

Anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this problem? All help is sincerely appreciated.

Update:
Using Webdeveloper's error console for javascript errors, I got the following errors when I attempted to add a html link to the forum.

domobj.focus is not a function
domobj.value has no properties

These errors point to mysite/class/xoopseditor/dhtmlext/xoops.js

One more question is there a way to only give admin/webmaster the rights to use all the editors? Can I control what registered user use with out turning them off for myself as well?

Thank you for your time.

With Tiny Editor, you can set administrative permissions and that is why it is such a great editor.

Can I just delete the editors I dont want?

That's exactly what I did with no problems whatsoever.

Is there anyway to control them in admin?

TinyEditor is the only editor I know of that can be controlled via administration because it installs as a module.

just skimming through this forum a bit...
i was having a real hard time when making my car module on how to include makes and models.

i compiled what seemed, to me anyway, to be a rather comprehensive list.
i'm sure there are plenty missing, but i can email the sql or excel file to somebody if you like. just pm me with the email address.

to add models, i made a form where users could submit models for each make, and then upon verification by an admin, it could be added to the pool. i also have it set so users could either choose from the list, or add a new one when filling out the car info. then it notify me so i could approve its addition to the list.

Heres the link. to what i have setup on my site.

hopefully this helps some in your endeavors.

I think we may have a winner here.
