If people suggest to read something, the whole community expect from you that you read that (or at least parts of it) before asking another question, wich is clearly answered in the docs.

Answer on your question:
There is a difference between templates and themes. You're trying to upload a theme through the template manager. You should unzip the theme, and upload the folder to /themes/ map. Good luck.

Remember that you got >three< style cheets, for IE, Moz-based browsers, mac browsers! You will have to make sure the two other style files are also edited.

Your server is responding quite weird to be fair...

Example when calling an image from your website (as requested in page):
Quote:
GET /themes/x2t/logo.gif HTTP/1.1
Host: www.evpspiritvoices.com
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1
Accept: image/png,*/*;q=0.5
Accept-Language: nl-be,nl;q=0.8,en-us;q=0.5,en;q=0.3
Accept-Encoding: gzip,deflate
Accept-Charset: ISO-8859-1,utf-8;q=0.7,*;q=0.7
Keep-Alive: 300
Connection: keep-alive
Referer:http://www.evpspiritvoices.com/
Cookie: PHPSESSID=8010135420c1b733610752003b477ccd

HTTP/1.x 403 Forbidden
Date: Tue, 05 Oct 2004 14:28:03 GMT
Server: Apache/1.3.28 (Unix) mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/4.3.3 mod_log_bytes/1.2 FrontPage/5.0.2.2634 mod_ssl/2.8.15 OpenSSL/0.9.6b
Keep-Alive: timeout=15, max=91
Connection: Keep-Alive
Transfer-Encoding: chunked
Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1

If however I request the file directly (so without Referer field, the response is the following:
Quote:
HTTP/1.x 200 OK
Date: Tue, 05 Oct 2004 14:30:00 GMT
Server: Apache/1.3.28 (Unix) mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/4.3.3 mod_log_bytes/1.2 FrontPage/5.0.2.2634 mod_ssl/2.8.15 OpenSSL/0.9.6b
Last-Modified: Mon, 04 Oct 2004 14:42:57 GMT
Etag: "4c0171-489-41616171"
Accept-Ranges: bytes
Content-Length: 1161
Keep-Alive: timeout=15, max=97
Connection: Keep-Alive
Content-Type: image/gif

Do you got a bad working referer check on your site or so? I would check that, since there isn't anything else that differs from a directly request or in a page.

Although having said that, I've set the default mode to flat, but whenever I visit my forum, it's still defaulting to a threaded forum and I have to click flat.

Any ideas why?

Just goto Edit Account, and change "Comments Display Mode".

You seem to misundestand the way XOOPS is offering an ssl login... To get a secure login, the user HAS to press a link "Secure login". A popup will open (to the path you specified), and here ya go.

Make sure <{$block.sslloginlink}> is present in the login-templat e(system_block_login.html).

Editing the real file, and then updating the module could also be a possibility if you do not want to clone the template set...

Hey Vinit,

1. Does the shout at the module itself work? I'm unable to test at this moment, since I just reinstalled my pc, and haven't yet got the change to reinstall apache.

2. Np, the creator hasn't yet responded to my mail regarding a request for a modified flash file... Too bad.

Cron task is probably calling a batch file that dumps the database, and then probably dumps a sql file to database.

That batch might also empty templates_c and cache and reset the upload map to its original content...

I work locally also with SSL (testing mostly). Works great, but may I remind you that SSL does not make your script safe or so, it justs encrypt the connection, so people can't read your exchange of data with the server (it it possible, however almost not possible ).

If your XOOPS_URL is set to your https link, ALL links in your XOOPS site will redirect to it, so people won't even notice the change (however, they might ofcourse get a warning they changing from unsecure connection to a secure connection, depending on preferences).

Long long time ago (in 1998 to be exact) two students invented something... Guess what? Google

First result here when I search for iframe:
http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/html40/special/iframe.html

Goodluck with it.
